About Detrash
Detrash is the British watch brand on a mission to “make trash desirable” — and it’s winning fans fast. Designed in Dorset and founded by entrepreneur Guy Blaskey (who previously built and sold the ethical pet food company Pooch & Mutt), Detrash makes seriously good-looking mechanical watches from recycled materials: cases in around 80% recycled steel, straps crafted from recycled ocean-bound plastic, and packaging made from recycled and recyclable materials.
The ethos runs deeper than materials. Detrash was one of the first European watchmakers to join 1% For The Planet, donating at least 1% of every sale — not just profit — to environmental causes, with Surfers Against Sewage among its charity partners. As Blaskey puts it, where big brands pay millions to celebrity ambassadors, Detrash gives that cut to the planet instead.
